This list is not definitive, if you require work that is not included here, please get in touch and have a chat with me about it.
My full setups involve a total strip down, a thorough clean and rebuild of the instrument. All wiring is checked for signs of dry joints, wear and fatigue, and is then cleaned and lubricated as necessary. Fingerboards are gently cleaned and conditioned and the frets are polished. All points of friction such as the saddles, tremolo base plates, posts and blades are checked for wear and maintained. The top nut is re-cut and reshaped for minimum friction. Essentially, I leave no stone unturned.
Prices can differ, up or down, depending on the type and current state of the instrument, age and materials it is made from. I will always make the customer aware of this at the time of quoting. If I discover an issue while carrying out any work that will require extra cost, the customer is always notified and I will await their decision before going ahead.
